Greetings in the precious name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Covenant Matrimony was born out of a God-given burden and vision. Over the years, I have witnessed the pain, tears, and suffering caused by broken marriages. As a pastor and counselor, I have met many couples and families whose lives were deeply affected by marital failure.
During prayer and ministry, the Lord gave me a deeper understanding of why many marriages fail. One of the greatest reasons is that marriage is often treated as a contract between two individuals rather than a sacred covenant before God. The Lord strongly impressed upon my heart the truth found in Malachi 2:14:
"The Lord is witness between you and the wife of your youth. You have been unfaithful to her, though she is your partner, the wife of your marriage covenant." — Malachi 2:14
Marriage is not merely a contract that can be broken when circumstances change. Marriage is a covenant established by God, witnessed by God, and intended to reflect God's faithfulness. With this biblical understanding, God gave me the vision to establish Covenant Matrimony.
